Do you often feel sad or stressed? Are issues from your past negatively affecting your daily life? Do you know a child who has been through a traumatic event(s) and is having trouble functioning as a result? My passion is working with people and my top priority is your mental well-being.

I am someone who looks for the good in others. As a therapist, I use a strengths-based approach to help people identify and build on their unique individual qualities and natural support systems in order to reach their full potential. I am non-judgmental and supportive in meeting people where they currently are in life and taking the journey with them as they explore where they would like to go. Because I believe all people are unique and different, I strive to be creative in making therapy a relaxing and safe environment for each individual. After meeting with me, you or your family member will be able to identify triggers to negative feelings/behaviors and will have developed positive coping skills in order to feel happy and enjoy a fulfilling life.

My office setting is suited to comfortably accommodate children, adolescents and adults. It is equipped with a child area for creative expression, as well as a comfortable room for talk therapy. I am patient, kind, understanding, comforting and approachable, and I love working with people. I look forward to meeting you!

"Margaret is an awesome therapist. My grandson has been with her for two years. He loves her and loves going to play therapy. For me, she has been a huge support. Whenever I call about a problem she calls back as soon as possible, always listening and providing helpful advice. She always shows care and concern for both my grandson and me." —Grandmother of Child Client

"I always feel welcomed as she greets me. Listened to...REALLY listened to. This is one of the qualities that I am grateful for in Margaret. Never has she "told" me what I need to do, yet she hears my words and responds. Never do I feel unimportant, as our time shared is us working together. I leave our time feeling positive." —Adult Client
